Can troubled Eagles fly over Tahiti?

At 8 o’clock tonight, Africa’s Champions, the Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on their Tahiti counterparts  in the ongoing FIFA Confederations Cup in Brasil.
Many Nigerians are disappointed that their darling Super Eagles were the last team to arrive Brasil due to dispute over bonuses. This development they believed has hampered the Eagles’ preparations thereby giving the small Polynesian island a glimmer of hope of causing an upset.

On paper, Nigeria is favourite. For example, Nigeria is Africa’s leading nation with vast experience of international competition, while Tahiti is a 138th-ranked island with a population of just 178,000. These two statistics alone mean there should be a vast gulf in class between the two sides this evening as they contest their opening games.
But with Nigeria troubled by a dispute between the squad and the nation’s football federation,  are the Super Eagles well prepared and organised to fly over the Tahitian side? Do you think the Eagles can defeat Tahiti and with what scores?
