Photos: 8 months pregnant Olympian runs 800m race

 
 
 
 


28 year old Olympian and five-time U.S. national champion Alysia Montano ran an 800m race at the Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California, yesterday and people are now questioning if it's safe. 
Alysia received a standing ovation after completing the race in 2 minutes, 32.13 seconds, 35 seconds slower than her personal best of 1:57.34, which she smashed back in 2010 in a race in Monaco.

LUIS SUAREZ IS TO BE SUSPENDED FOR NINE (9) OFFICIAL MATCHES

 Luis Suárez is to be suspended for nine (9) official matches


Mr. Uruguay Vampire has been banned for four months from all football related activities by FIFA for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during the Uruguay-Italy match played on June 24th.

FIFA's disciplinary committee released a statement on their website stating this. See it below...

"The player Luis Suárez is regarded as having breached art. 48 par. 1 lit. d of the FIFA Disciplinary Code (FDC) (assault), and art. 57 of the FDC (an act of unsporting behaviour towards another player).

Award winning gospel singer, Osinachi Kalu popularly known as Sinach tied the knot with her boo, Joseph, a Christ Embassy pastor in Ebonyi state on Saturday, June 21.



The traditional ceremony had friends and family members in attendance.
There was also a cultural dance group that entertained the crowd, who were cheering, screaming and clapping over the wonderful dance steps.

Osinachi and Joe would be having their white wedding ceremony on the 28th of June in Lagos.
According to report, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome would be joining the couple together himself.

Types of Computer Hardware

Computer hardware is a physical part of a computer that executes within the hardware. It is unlike computer software or data that can be frequently changed, modified or erased on a computer. Computer hardware is not frequently changed and so is stored in hardware devices such as read only memory (ROM) where it is not readily changed. 


Most computer hardware is embedded and so is not visible to normal users. Below are the different types of hardware's found in a computer.

Ø Motherboard: It is the central or primary circuit board making up a complex electronic system such as a computer. A motherboard is also known as a main board, logic board or system board.

Ø Central processing Unit: A CPU is the main component of a digital computer that interprets instructions and process data in computer programs.

Ø Random Access Memory: A RAM allows the stored data to be accessed in any order. RAM is considered as the main memory of the computer where the working area is used for displaying and manipulating data.

Ø Basic Input Output System: BIOS prepares the software programs to load, execute and control the computer.

Ø Power Supply: Power Supply supplies electrical energy to an output load or group of loads.
Ø Video Display Controller: It converts the logical representation of visual information into a signal that can be used as input for a display medium.

Ø Computer Bus: It is used to transfer data or power between computer components inside a computer or between computers.

Ø CD-ROM drive: It contains data accessible by a computer

Ø Floppy disk: It is a data storage device

Ø Zip Drive: It is a medium capacity removable disk storage system.

Ø Hard Disk: It is a non-volatile data storage system that stores data on a magnetic surface layered unto hard disk platters.

Oral-B has been taking the toothbrush high tech for a while now. Way back in 2007 we talked about a toothbrush from Oral-B that had a monitor to help you know when your teeth were clean. The company is now set to launch a new toothbrush this summer that features even more tech crammed inside. The toothbrush will be sold under the P&G Oral-B brand and will hit store shelves in June. The toothbrush will feature Bluetooth 4.0 technology that allows it to link to an app running on your smartphone.
The app can be programmed with the help of a dentist. The idea is to allow the dentist to show people locations in the mouth where they need to spend more time brushing. The app promises real-time guidance on brushing. Oral-B plans to unveil the toothbrush at MWC 2014 in Spain next week. The app running on the smartphone will display brushing progress in real time and tell the user when to move to a different part of the mouth. The app will also tell the user if they are brushing too hard. The Bluetooth equipped toothbrush will sit at the top of the Oral-B range and is expected to sell for 219 euros, or about $330 -

Always take the Follow Precautions below:-
1. Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.
2.Refresh the desktop after closing any application. This will remove any unused files from the RAM.
3. Do not set very large file size images as your wallpaper. Do not keep a wallpaper at all if your PC is low on RAM (less than 64 MB).
4. Do not clutter your Desktop with a lot of shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop uses up to 500 bytes of RAM 5. Empty the recycle bin regularly.
5. The files are not really deleted from your hard drive until you empty the recycle bin.
6. Delete the temporary internet files regularly.
7. Defragment your hard drive once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster.To defragment your hard drive go to my computer icon on the desktop and right click it then go to manage options,there you will see “Disk defragmenter”. Click it then analyze and defrag your drives.You can also defrag your drives using third party software like AVG PC tools,Disk Defragmenter etc.
8. Always make two partitions in your hard drive. Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.
9. When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.
10. Protect your PC from dust. Dust causes the CPU cooling fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating your CPU and affecting the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from the CPU. Never use vacuum. Extra Tip:- Keep your Desktop Screen as Clean as Possible, Deleted Unwanted Software and Keep Only Need Icon on your Desktop.
